On Saturday, November 10th between 5-9pm, there may be some network connectivity interruption in some non-residential areas on campus. During this time, network hardware will be upgraded. You may not be able to connect to UCSD-PROTECTED or GUEST in ERC (vicinity of reslife offices, Ventanas, Great Hall), Muir (vicinity of court yard, annex, laundry room), Marshall (vicinity of Oceanview Terrace, Fireside Lounge, administrative buildings), or Village East/West (vicinity of administrative buildings). This should not affect wireless access available in your common room area.
Wired and wireless connectivity should be restored at this time. If you are having difficulties connecting, please restart your computer and try to connect again. If connection is still unsuccessful, please give us a call at (858) 534-2267.

We are currently experiencing network connection issues for all of UCSD campus on both the wired and wireless. The problem is intermittent and not affecting all users, and we are currently working to resolve the issue as soon as possible. The power in Muir Tuolumne hall will be shut off today between 12:00 and 12:30 PM for emergency repairs. This will result in the loss of all network services as well. If you continue to have issues after the power is restored please contact us at 858-534-2267.
This Friday, October 19th, wireless maintenance will be performed on the residential areas of campus between the hours of 4:00 PM and 11:00 PM. The wireless RESNET networks will be down for this time period.
Similarly this Sunday, October 21st, Wireless maintenance will be performed on the UCSD-GUEST and the UCSD-PROTECTED networks between the hours of 4:00 PM and 11:00PM. The UCSD networks will be down for this time period.
Wired connections should not be affected.
